Authentications

The Gabriele Münter- und Johannes Eichner-Stiftung will confirm the authentication for a work as long as there is evidence of the artwork in the Estate of the painter Gabriele Münter.

For a preliminary assessment, all information concerning the work in question – medium, dimensions, inscriptions, all documents pertaining to the work’s provenance, and photos of the front and back of the picture (300 dpi, tif format)—must be sent to the Gabriele Münter- und Johannes Eichner-Stiftung.

For the principle assessment, the original work, without frame, must be brought for visual inspection to the Gabriele Münter- und Johannes Eichner-Stiftung in Munich, cost and insurance to be borne by the applicant. Furthermore, two color photos of the front of the painting, and one photo of the back, measuring 18 x 24 cm are to be provided.

Price for the confirmation of authentication: 750 euros + 19% VAT
